PUBLIC IP IS WHICH WE GET FROM SERVICE PROVIDER FOR OUR WAN CONNECTIVITY AND PRIVATE IP IS WHICH WE USE FOR OUR LAN NETWORK FOR AN EXAMPLE IFYOU WANT TO GET A INTERNET CONNECTION YOU HAVE TO BUY A PUBLIC IP ADDRESS UNLESS UNTILL YOU WONT GAT A INTERNET CONNECTION WHEREAS IN PRIVTAE IP YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY FROM ANYONE BUT THERE IS A CERTAIN RANGE OF IP ADDRESS IN PUBLIC AS WELL AS PRIVATE IP .
Private IP address - It is used to hide systems from public internet.
my service provider given an ip address ([b]i use .....in windows obtain the ip address manually tab[/b]) like 192.168.XX.XXX . but when i entering in whatismyipaddress.com it show an different ip address. can u explain me........???
